Sport

Our school is a member of School Sport SA, which allows us to compete in interschool carnivals and knockout competitions. CBPS has a long history of competing in a variety of sports, including netball, football, soccer and basketball. Year 5 & 6 students are usually chosen for these opportunities.

CBPS are part of the Onkaparinga North School Sport District. As part of this, we are invited to participate in district sport days. Each year we attend the district cross country and athletics day. These act as trials for the district team that attends state competition days. There are also often district carnivals, such as a table tennis tournament. In addition to this, students can elect to try out for other district sport teams. These opportunities are for students in Years 4-6.
